It’s not any easy process. The lenders already have in place networks of agents with whom they are comfortable working. Your best bet is to do BPO’s for these lenders with hopes that you will end up with listings for some of the properties.
You’ll have to approach them and show them what you can offer them that their current agent isn’t.
Banks get calls all day, every day, from Realtors and Brokers wanting their foreclosure listings…but once they get “locked in” with a Broker, they are very unlikely to change..unless you can show them that what you offer will be different.
Write them a letter. In the meantime, go to the offices that have REO’s and ask if you can help them with any overflow of work or any buyer calls they can’t handle. Once they like working with you, they may send you some referrals..
