I need career advice into an REO (real estate owned) agent or broker.?

I would like to become a specialist agent or broker in REO in California. I have B.A in business, working towards a MAsters and will get my Real Estate License soon. But how to I get into REO???? How do I get my listings? Do you have any career advice or reccomend me to any reputable organizations? Please advise. I need some mentoring 
Is this something I can do part time. Anyone hiring out there??

This is something that you can do part time, but due to the density of CA, the number of REOs and the margin on them is relatively small still.
It is very competitive, and there isn’t enough product to make a decent amount of money. You would be better off focusing on Phoenix or Las Vegas for the REO market.
So, my advice is that you should stay away from So Cal because there are too many people and not enough REOs.
